​As a first-generation American (Scottish and Dominican), Elizabeth's passion​ is immigrant research and tracing families back to their country of origin.
​Elizabeth was born and raised in the northeast in a bilingual household and recently moved to New Jersey after living in Miami for the last twenty years. She earned a dual bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish and is a graduate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. She is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and has written intermediate-level Scottish genealogy course content for the University of Toronto’s National Institute for Genealogical Studies. Currently, she is a mentor for students enrolled in the Advanced Skills in Genealogy course for the National Genealogical Society.

Elizabeth specializes in Mid-Atlantic states, Spain, Italy, and Latin America, including Mexico, Central and South America, and the Spanish Caribbean, particularly Cuba. She also has extensive experience in Scotland.
She has access to all online genealogical databases and established international contacts to conduct onsite research in all countries of expertise.
